The Beatles To Stream Yellow Submarine Live Sing-A-Long This Weekend

Yellow Submarine

This Saturday, April 25th, at 5pm in the UK (12pm Eastern Daylight Time / 9:00am Pacific Daylight Time), The Beatles will stream the restored Sing-A-Long version of their iconic 1968 animated movie Yellow Submarine on YouTube. The Sing-A-Long version has not been available since it was originally released in theatres to celebrate the beloved film’s 50th anniversary in 2018. The Sing-A-Long edit of Yellow Submarine features the song lyrics scrolling across the bottom of the screen.

“For those of you missing singing together, I’ve got good news,” said Ringo Starr in a promo video posted Wednesday on Twitter. “Tune in ... for a special ‘Yellow Submarine’ movie sing-along for kids and kids at heart. Peace and love.”

Tours That Rocked The World

With current band tours all on hold around the world right now, we thought this would be a great time to remind you of all the classic tours that rocked the world. Some of the tours mentioned below propelled bands into worldwide stardom, had huge attendances and changed the course of music history.....

Highway to Hell was originally released on 27 July 1979. The tour began on the 17th of August 1979 in Belgium and ended on the 27th January 1980 in Southampton.
It was the last album featuring lead singer Bon Scott, who died on 19 February 1980

Celebrating 50 years of Good Vibrations with tour dates on the back. There's little disputing the status of The Beach Boys pioneering psych-pop concoction "Good Vibrations" as one of the most well-liked songs of the rock era. A no. 1 hit on Billboard's Hot 100 upon its release in 1966

They played dates in Europe, along with Jefferson Airplane, including a show in Amsterdam where Morrison collapsed on stage after a drug binge.

"We started out as a hardcore band and we toured our f.....g asses off," Slash recalled. "Next thing you know, we've turned into pop stars."

IRON MAIDEN UNISEX TEE: KILLER WORLD TOUR 81

Johnny Cash was one of the best-selling music artists of all time, having sold more than 90 million records worldwide. He even had his own TV show!

METALLICA UNISEX TEE: MASTER OF PUPPETS EUROPEAN TOUR '86. (BACK PRINT)

The Belfast concert on 5th March that year featured the first public performance of their now-legendary song "Stairway to Heaven". During this period the band members began to experiment with their stage attire, introducing kaftans and growing longer hair and beards.

The name of the tour is taken from the last song on the album. It began on March 27th 1986 and ended on February 13th 1987. Metallica supported Ozzy Osbourne from March to August and headlined a string of U.S. dates between May 23rd and June 7th.

PINK FLOYD UNISEX TEE: DARK SIDE OF THE MOON 1972 TOUR (BACK PRINT)

QUEEN UNISEX TEE: EUROPEAN TOUR 1984 (BACK PRINT)

Playing 93 shows in 1972, the most until 1994, Pink Floyd debuted the live performance before its release not of a song but a whole album. The original title was "Eclipse", then "Dark Side of the Moon – A Piece for Assorted Lunatics".

The stage design was based on a scene from Fritz Lang's Metropolis with huge rotating cog-wheels at the rear of the stage and a brightly lit cityscape. The tour began in Brussels in August 1984 and ended the following year in May in Osaka

RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE UNISEX TEE: BOLA EURO TOUR (BACK PRINT)

RAMONES UNISEX TEE: TOUR 1979

The Battle of Los Angeles Tour was a 1999–2000 concert tour, in support of their album "The Battle of Los Angeles". It had six legs: one for promotional shows around the world, two European legs, an Asia leg and the other in the US and Canada.

The Ramones toured hard! Their 1979 tour began on January 3rd in Portland, Oregon and ended on December 31st in New York. The Ramones have inspired so many bands like Motorhead, Metallica, and The Sex Pistols and certainly speed metal owes them a huge debt.

THE ROLLING STONES UNISEX TEE: US TOUR 1978 (BACK PRINT)

RUSH UNISEX TEE: 1981 TOUR (BACK PRINT)

This tour took place in June and July 1978, immediately following the release of the group's 1978 album "Some Girls". The tour used a stripped back, minimal stage show, less extravagant than the previous tours like the Americas 75 and Tour of Europe 76

Rush's popularity reached its pinnacle with the release of "Moving Pictures" in 1981. "Moving Pictures" essentially continued where "Permanent Waves" left off, extending the trend of accessible and commercially friendly progressive rock that helped thrust them into the spotlight.

VAN HALEN UNISEX TEE: INVASION TOUR '80

THE WHO LADIES TEE: BRITISH TOUR 1973

This was the tour to support their third album "Women and Children First". It was dubbed the "Party Til You Die Tour" by the band. The tour is notable for being the first time the band played keyboards live during their shows

In May and June 1973 The Who recorded Quadrophenia. In October and November a ten-date tour introduces Quadrophenia to UK audiences. At the end of November Keith collapsed during the opening concert of a gig in San Francisco. On December 3rd The Who and entourage spend seven hours in jail after wrecking a Montreal hotel suite. #rockandroll
